My guess is to pull the high voltage orange plug for the hybrid battery, disconnect the 12V aux battery, drain the Toyota long life fluid from the inverter, pull the inverter cover, disconnect the electrical connections, disconnect the plumbing connections, disconnect the mechanical connections and then remove the assembly. I have not seen any good instructions on how to replace the inverter assembly on a Gen II prius. The code did not come back when I checked the battery but when I turned the vehicle on and then put it in neutral, the error code did come back on.which i believe means the voltage fault is either in the inverter or the wiring between the hybrid battery and the inverter. I did the test to see if the issue was in the hybrid battery, the inverter, or the transmission. I bought the Techstream software to read the codes since it did not throw any generic codes that my OBD reader could detect. The Techstream Software can save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars over your vehicle’s lifetime.
